The following information may be useful in deciding whether to book an apartment, or during your stay, at Goose Rock Apartments (GRA).
Booking Terms & Conditions
Coronavirus
If any bookings are cancelled due to Covid restrictions or lockdowns no refunds will be given, instead a credit will be given to be used against any other dates, subject to availability.
Arrival & Departure
Guests will be informed by the individual apartment owner as to the check in and check out times for their apartment.
Check in and departure times may vary for each apartment but will follow the industry norms of late morning departure (10 -11am) and late afternoon check in (3 -4pm).
Booking Process
After an initial enquiry has been made and availability has been confirmed a Booking Form will be sent to you together with instructions on how to pay the deposit for your stay.
Once the Booking Form and deposit has been received you will receive confirmation that the apartment has been reserved for you. Please note that the booking is only confirmed once an email has been sent from us confirming receipt of the deposit and your Booking Form.
The balance of the booking fee will be due 8 weeks before the arrival date. Should the balance not be received by this date, the booking will be cancelled. In these circumstances the deposit will be retained to cover potential loss of income and re-marketing costs.
Please note the deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
Should you cancel the booking within 8 weeks of the arrival date, no refunds will be given.
Should you cancel the booking earlier than 8 weeks before the arrival date then you will lose your deposit.
Should we cancel the booking for any reason (excluding cancelation due to Coronavirus restrictions or lockdowns) you will be entitled to as full refund of any monies paid.
Should the booking need to be cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions or lockdowns (or any other government imposed restriction) no refunds will be given, instead, a credit will be offered against a future booking of the same apartment.
Damages & Breakages
The booking will be subject to a security deposit which will be used to cover any damages or breakages during your stay. You will be responsible for the total cost of any breakages, damage or repairs to the property caused by you during your stay.
You will be advised of the security deposit at the time of booking.
The security deposit will be returned within 7 days of the departure date assuming no damages or costs have been incurred.
Please report any breakages or damage immediately to the apartment owner so that repairs or replacements can be sourced.
Access
Some apartments are only accessible via a staircase and may not be suitable for wheelchair users or others with special mobility needs.
Please contact us using the Contact Form with any special requirements and we will advise you which apartments may be suitable.
Cleaning
Each apartment is thoroughly cleaned between lettings by a specialist company. However, as there is only a limited period in which to clean them, we ask that you leave it and its contents clean and tidy. GRA reserves the right to charge extra for properties not left in a suitable state.
Heating, Hot water and Electricity
The heating, hot water and electricity are all included in the terms
Pets
Quiet, well behaved pets are welcome in most apartments but will incur a £30 per pet, per week supplement to cover additional cleaning costs.
Please note this is an additional cleaning charge and doesn’t cover any damage caused by your pet.
For the comfort of other guests, pets must not be allowed on any furniture or beds.
You are responsible for ensuring you clean up after your dog in the gardens, car park and surrounding areas.
Bed Linen and Towels
Bed Linen is included in the price and beds will be made up for your arrival.
Towels (not beach towels) are also included.
Sofa beds, where available, will not be made up but linen will be provided.
Cot linen is not provided.
Smoking
For the comfort of other guests smoking is not allowed inside the apartments or on the balconies.
Your Responsibility
You, the hirer are responsible for the property and are expected to take all reasonable care of it.
Your party will conduct themselves in such a fashion as to cause no undue noise or annoyance or disturbance to neighbouring proprietors or occupiers and you will leave the accommodation clean and tidy.
We accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of your party or your property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused.
