The South West Coastal Path is right on the doorstep and gives access to coastal walks around West Pentire Point and to Kelsey Head, Holywell Bay, Perranporth and St Agnes to the south and Newquay & Mawgan Porth to the north.
The beaches at Crantock and Polly Joke are just a short walk away as is the local pub (Bowgie Inn)Â and restaurant (C-Bay Bistro).
A taste of Cornwall awaits at the Fern Pit cafe, where fresh Lobster and Crab, caught by the owner, is served.
Fresh fish, landed at Newlyn and Newquay harbours, can be ordered and delivered to your door.
Sandwiched between two beaches, you are spoilt for choice. Its a short walk to both the large, sandy beach and dunes at Crantock and the quieter, unspoilt beach of Polly Joke.

swimming and surfing between mid May and October.
